City Battles
An exciting PUBG battle between Moscow and Kazan
RU
The Goal
To present new gaming laptops by RoG.
We had to do two things for ASUS. First, tell gamers about their new ASUS ROG notebooks. Second, work out the common objection that even gaming notebooks can't run modern games well.
It's better to prove hardware visually — just show pros using it. To get higher coverage, we used a unique opportunity and held a first-ever big PUBG tournament in Russia. That granted us a significant natural engagement, and also let to show off the hardware because PUBG was optimized poorly back then and so demanded high-performance PC.

Broadcast of the ASUS ROG event got 700 thousands of views, while total coverage was 2,2 million people. They all could see how ASUS ROG notebooks run the high-demanding shooter.

This event showcases two opportunities we offer to the customers. First, we integrated two more brands into the ASUS tournament to reduce the cost for each of them. Second, the 'City Battle' format may be an excellent choice if you run your business in the separate regions and don't need a whole country targeting.
